Continental Rijeka

The Continental Hotel was inaugurated in 1888 and is the oldest hotel in the area of Rijeka. The construction of the hotel was funded from Hinko Bacic, a mayor of Susak, and designed by the first trained architect, also citizen of Susak, Mate Glavan. The hotel was built from 1885 until 1888. When opened, Continental has rapidly gained popularity among residents of Susak because of its constitution, many facilities and excellent position. The hotel was renovated in 2008, and since then was upgraded to a 3-star hotel.
